OKX exchange will stop operations with private altcoins Monero and ZCash

The press service of the OKX exchange announced its intention to stop processing transactions with the private digital currencies Monero (XMR) and ZCash (ZEC).

The company’s statement notes that these altcoins do not meet the criteria of transparency and security. As a result, it was decided to exclude XMR and ZEC from the listing.

From January 4, traders will not be able to transact with KSM-USDC, FLOW-USDC, JST-USDC, KNC-USDC, ANT-USDC, FSN-USDT, ZKS-USDT, CAPO-USDT and CVP-USDT pairs.

Starting January 5, OKX will stop processing transactions with XMR-BTC, XMR-ETH, XMR-USDT, XMR-USDC, DASH-BTC, DASH-USDT, ZEC-BTC, ZEC-USDT, ZEC-USDC, ZEN-BTC, and ZEN-USDT pairs.

Exchange users should cancel orders involving the above trading pairs within the next three days.

If traders do not close the orders within the set timeframe, they will be liquidated automatically.
