Bitcoin volatility is at a three-year low

In the middle of the current week, bitcoin (BTC) recovered from a drop to $25,000 and jumped above $26,000.

However, after a small burst of investor activity, the situation quickly stabilized. The cryptocurrency’s price fluctuation range remains low.

BTC volatility has weakened to its lowest level since October 2020, according to a report from Glassnode.

Bitcoin strengthened to $26,254 on the night of Thursday, September 14. The average daily value of transactions on the blockchain is approximately $2.44 billion.

Analysts note that a similar phase of stagnation was observed three years ago, and it preceded a period of severe turbulence.
