Spot trading volume in October increased by 87.2%

A report from CCData says that in October 2023, spot trading volume on the largest centralized exchanges soared 87.2% compared to September’s figures.

For the first time in the past four months, activity in the cryptocurrency market began to pick up. Digital asset transactions totaled $632 billion last month.

Block Research cites slightly adjusted data. This team found that users of leading centralized exchanges realized transactions worth $516.43 billion.

In September, trading platforms recorded a turnover of virtual currencies in the amount of $323.76 billion. That is, in October, trading increased by almost 60%.

CCData analysts emphasized that in October the activity of traders on the spot market was the highest since March.

At the same time, the growth rate of trading in monthly terms was the highest since January 2021.
