At the end of last week, Larry Fink, CEO of the investment company BlackRock, said on CNBC that bitcoin may become one of the leading assets in the global financial sector in the future.
Moreover, the digital currency is able to surpass even the U.S. dollar in terms of capitalization.
In early July, Larry Fink suggested that BTC should be considered as one of the classes of independent assets with huge potential. That’s why his company is ready to launch a crypto exchange-traded fund ETF, tracking the performance of bitcoin on the spot market.
BlackRock CEO agrees with those experts who believe that the introduction of BTC contributes to the democratization of financial infrastructure.
Larry Fink said: “We have a responsibility to democratize investment. We’ve already done a lot of work and ETFs are accelerating the transformation of investing, and we’re just at the beginning of that journey.”
