Morgan Creek is focused on a bullish scenario for bitcoin

The small drawdowns recently experienced by bitcoin (BTC) will not have a long-term negative impact on the digital currency.

It will continue to move upward, and macroeconomic factors will stimulate this growth, Morgan Creek co-founder Anthony Pompliano said on CNBC.

An important event, according to the expert, was the rise of bitcoin above $50,000. Overcoming this milestone played a big role in consolidating the status of BTC as the most reliable asset.

Despite the volatility of the price, the cryptocurrency is becoming more attractive, and in the long term it will be able to update the historical maximum.

In early April, Anthony Pompliano made a forecast that in the long term bitcoin could overtake gold in terms of capitalization. He recalled that over the past four years, the value of the leading digital currency has increased from $8,000 to $63,000.

Wall Street is beginning to realize that BTC is a long-term investment, the Morgan Creek co-founder stressed.
