German Millennials Invest in Cryptocurrencies

he young generation of investors shows the greatest interest in the digital currency market. The most active are the so-called millennials.

For example, in the U.S., about 40% of citizens between the ages of 25 and 40 invested in bitcoin and other virtual currencies.

A survey conducted by the exchange KuCoin in Germany also showed that young investors prefer to buy not only shares of IT-companies but also digital assets.

51% of German investors who have already purchased cryptocurrencies are from the millennial generation. The second place is occupied by citizens of Germany between the ages of 40 and 50. Of this category of traders, about 30% of their capital was invested in BTC and altcoins.

The youngest investors under the age of 25 have little interest in the market so far. Of these, only 19% have purchased cryptocurrency, stressed KuCoin.

22% of those respondents, who invested in digital assets, believe that this way one can get rich quickly. In addition to bitcoin, German citizens buy NFT collections. 64% of cryptocurrency investors directed funds to BTC. The second place is taken by ether (ETH), about 40% of respondents invested in it, the authors of the study said.
